The DFC Futurity & Incentive Fund is a stallion program intended to showcase pole bending stallions, junior stallions, and their foals.  

Our purpose is to elevate the pole bending industry and to encourage breeding to Stallions enrolled in the DFC Futurity & Incentive Fund. 

Stallions will earn points based on how enrolled foals finish at each of the 3 approved shows. At the end of the year 50% of the stallions will get a payout based on 50% of the stallion nomination money for that year.

1. A foal may be nominated to the program at the age of weanling up to a coming 3-year-old.

2. The foal owner must be a DFC  member in good standing at time of nomination.

3. A foal nominator must be the registered owner at time of nomination. Ownership changes must be submitted to the DFC  office within 30 days.

4. A copy of the foal’s registration papers must be submitted with the nomination form.

5. Only foals of an enrolled stallion in good standing may be nominated to the DFC  Futurity & Incentive Fund.

Enrolled foals at the age of 4 & 5 will be eligible to compete in 3  shows.

Futurity classes will have a $500 side pot for the nominated 4 & 5-year-old foals sired by DFC stallion.. At the end of the year the top foal in each division will be crowned the DFC Futurity Champion of that division.

General DFC  Futurity & Incentive Fund Rules

1. DFC  reserves the right to refuse any nomination.

2. No refunds of nomination payments.

​

3. Any disputes arising from misinterpretation of any rules or conditions shall be decided by DFC BOARD.​

4. DFC reserves the right to change the conditions of all or part of the  Futurity & Incentive  Fund.

5. All DFC Futurity & Incentive Fund side pot checks will be cash at show or mailed

.

6. DFC Futurity & Incentive Fund runs January 1st to December 31st.
